A stainless-steel Omega automatic presentation watch from the United States Steel company. These watches, like many others given by large manufacturers during this time, were presented for long, dedicated service to an employer. Watches like this were made by many watch manufacturers such as Hamilton, Rolex and even Patek Philippe. In this case, a Mr. Robert H. Myers was being rewarded in 1975 by United States Steel. It was usually for twenty or twenty-five years of service. The applied USS logo on the dial transforms what is a quite ordinary watch into a great looking, and an uncommon one. The watch is in excellent fully original, unpolished condition, including the original, crazed acrylic crystal with the Omega logo in the center. The lume material is intact, and original, in the hands. There is some scratching to back of the case where somebody, inexplicably, tried to twist off a snap back case! However, aside form that the case is in excellent hardly even worn condition. The watch is powered by the Omega calibre 563 movement. It features a date function at the three o'clock position, and it is a center sweep movement. The watch was made in Switzerland, circa 1975.
